Kylie Marie Heise, the daughter of Kyle Heise, was born in 2009 on June 5 and died of Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS) on October 16 at 4 months, 11 days.
The Kylie Marie Heise Memorial Scholarship has been established to honor the brief life of the Heise's baby Angel with a contribution to a SIDS-oriented agency.
2010 - a contribution was made to the American SIDS Institute in Atlanta, Georgia that specializes in SIDS research
2011 - a donation was made to First
Candle of Baltimore, Maryland, whose priority is to eliminate Stillbirth,
SIDS, and other Sudden Unexpected Infant Deaths (SUID)
with programs of research, education and advocacy. Attached is a letter

In addition, a Scholarship on behalf of her memory will be awarded annually to a boys and girls senior soccer player at Brookland-Cayce High School who has also competed with the Congaree Rapid Soccer Association and has demonstrated excellence on and off the pitch.
The inaugural recipients of the Kylie Marie Heise Memorial Scholarship are Katie Busbee and William Flores. The announcement took place at the Brookland-Cayce High School Senior Awards Day, May 21, 2010. Katie and William were also recognized at the BCHS Athletics Department Spring Awards Night on May 28. Congratulations to Katie and William!

The 2011 recipients of the Kylie Marie Heise Memorial Scholarship are Jennifer Merritt and Ryan Bristow. The announcement took place at the Brookland-Cayce High School Athletics Department Spring Awards Night on May 23. Congratulations to Jennifer and Ryan!
